About Marcy

Marcy Renken has a diverse background which allows her to relate to a wide variety of audiences. As an Army veteran, she served 5 years as a trumpet player (“the bugler”), but always a soldier first, where she was a part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. She obtained a B.A. Degree in Economics from UMASS, Boston and pursued a career as a residential Realtor® for over 10 years.

In 2011, Marcy and her husband Tom founded Celebrate Marriage. The ministry offers a proactive approach, offering opportunities for couples throughout their marriage. Their creative and fun talks and events keep audiences at ease as they receive insights and inspiration to keep their marriages thriving. The ministry has impacted over 500 marriages through live events and engages even more couples through social media, radio interviews, guest speaking, and published articles. In 2018, they received the NACFLM Region VII Family Ministry Award.

Marcy has been a guest writer for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis Criterion multiple times. In 2021, Marcy was awarded the Angels of Grace Archangel Raphael award.

Marcy is also active in Toastmasters International. In 2022, she placed 2nd at the District 11 Toastmasters International Speech Contest with her speech “Find joy in the moment.”

Marcy is a mother to 6 children ranging in age from 18 years-old down to the latest addition born in February 2023! In her free time, you’ll find Marcy starting a new project around the house or wiping up spilled milk.
